ATHENA was privileged to host a visit from educational representatives from across Europe interested in taking part in ‘Powerful Videoconferencing’ – a week of presentations, visits, workshops, showcases and discussions. The week was designed to provide an understanding of the range off Videoconference applications available for education, what makes Videoconferencing distinctive and what the various impacts are of using the technology across a range of purposes. Supported by the British Council, this Arion project was well received by delegates who were keen to take aspects of their experiences and apply them in their home context. The group remains active and a strong advocate for collaboration and the evolution of powerful Videoconference applications across the European Union.
